These Ribbon and Reed ring pulls are made from solid brass and they are made the old fashioned way. We pour molten brass into highly detailed sand cast molds - and then grind and polish the pieces by hand. The ring pulls and back plates are made from solid brass and hand-polished on a buffer. The wall mount screws are solid steel - just like they were made a hundred years ago.
Polished brass is an un-lacquered living finish that will naturally darken with age, and slight variations may appear between pieces. Other finishes will not tarnish. For a lasting high-shine look, custom lacquered brass is available upon request.
